Third weekend of September. Fifty or more artists come together at Gallery One on Firday evening. There amid music, food and art appreciators, they begin their 24 hour 'paint-a-thon'. In the wee hours of the morning, they're ofter 'bleary eyed and slaphappy', but the creating doesn't stop until the time is up. Saturday night, the auction begins.. The generous gift of time and effort by these artists funds for free events like Ellensburg's FirstFridy Art Walk.
